Notes:
Found in my grandmother's (Lena J. (Teed) Niles) notebook:
Joseph Niles was married to Mary (Farr)
Mycall. Evidence points to him having an unrecorded son born ca.
1680 named Nathl. He is thought to be the Nathl. whom was in Kingston
R.I. ca. 1712 & who purchased 100a in west part of E. Greenwich
in the area later set off as W. Greenwich. The 1712 deed refers
to him as the sonne of Joseph Niles. Deed probably written that
way to distinguish im from Capt. Nathl.(2) and Capt. Nathl's own
son Nathl.(3) who by then were also at Kingston from Block Island.
Joseph and Mary were married by Peter Brackett according to Braintree
Recs.
